Introduction
Due to the integration of faculty and administrative manpower, The departments of Surveying and Mapping Engineering, Applied Physics with Weather division, Civil engineering, and civil engineering graduate was integrated into Environmental Information and Engineering Department on September 1, 1995. The department contains the divisions of Space Science, Atmospheric Science, and Civil Engineering with undergraduate and graduate class.

History of the Space Science Group

The predecessor of this group was the joint logistics measurement school. In the first eight years of the Republic of China, it was established in Beiping, and it was first called the surveying and mapping school. After the founding of the Republic of China, it was renamed the Central Survey School. During the Northern Expedition and the Anti-Japanese War, many schools were relocated. After the transfer to Taiwan, it was renamed the Joint Inspection School. In March of the Republic of China, it was ordered to merge with the Army Polytechnic Institute and the Naval Engineering College to become the Zhongzheng Institute of Technology, and set up the Department of Measurement Engineering. In July of the Republic of China, it was renamed the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering and entered a new milestone in surveying and mapping technology education. In the Republic of China in 1986, a surveying and mapping team was set up at the Military Engineering Research Institute to create master's talents. On September 1st, the Republic of China was integrated into the "Space Science Group of the Department of Environmental Information and Engineering" for the integration of educational resources and the integration of teachers and administrative staff, and the education of the university and master classes.

History of the Atmospheric Sciences Group

Physics is the mother of science and the cornerstone of the development of national defense science and technology. To this end, the Court established the Department of Physics in the Republic of China in 1949. In the fifty-seventh year, due to the impact of weather changes on military operations, a special meteorological unit was added to the department. In the 59th year of the Republic of China, in order to cultivate national defense science and technology research and development talents and improve the quality of the national army, a master's class of the Institute of Physics was established, and a doctoral class was established in the Republic of China in 1989. In the 73rd year of the Republic of China, the department was renamed the Institute of Applied Physics and the Institute of Applied Physics. On September 1st, the Republic of China, the school focused on educational resources and integrated teachers and administrative staff, and integrated into the "Environmental Science and Engineering Department of Atmospheric Sciences", and went to university and master classes.

Military engineering group history

History of the Department of Military Engineering In order to cultivate military engineering talents, the National Army established a self-reliant and independent national defense project. In the Republic of China, the Department of Civil Engineering was established at the Taipei Institute of Technology in the Republic of China. In the fifty-five years of the Republic of China, the Army Institute of Technology was renamed the Zhongzheng Institute of Technology, and in the 57th year of the Republic of China, it was relocated to the site of Zhongzhengling, a member of the forest in Daxi Town, Taoyuan County. In the 61st year of the Republic of China, the National Army was the civil engineering and technical officer to enrich the grassroots units of the National Army. In the 73rd year of the Republic of China, the Ministry of National Defense, in view of the increasing importance of the war preparation protection project, needed to strengthen the education of military engineering professionals. It changed the name of the Department of Civil Engineering to the Department of Military Engineering and established the Military Engineering Research Institute in 1987. Training master's degree military engineering science and technology officers for the national army. On September 1st, the Republic of China was integrated into the "Military Engineering Group of the Department of Environmental Information and Engineering" for the integration of educational resources and the integration of teachers and administrative staff, and the education of the university and master classes.
